Website Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 23, 2026
Winston Integrative ADHD Care is the trade name of Winston Integrative ADHD Care, PLLC (“Winston,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We respect the privacy of people who visit our website, request information about our services, or communicate with us electronically.
This Website Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and used through our public website. It does not replace our Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes how we use and disclose protected health information in connection with providing healthcare.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us
You may choose to provide information when you:
- request information about our services;
- submit a contact or appointment inquiry;
- communicate with us by email or through a website form; or
- otherwise contact the practice.
Depending on the form or communication, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, whether you are seeking services for yourself or a child, your general location, and information you choose to include in a message.
Requests for information and requests for an evaluation are submitted through our patient portal rather than collected on this website.
We encourage you not to submit detailed psychiatric histories, medication information, diagnoses, Social Security numbers, insurance information, or other highly sensitive clinical information through a general website contact form or ordinary email. Established patients should use the secure patient communication methods provided by the practice for clinical matters.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our website may receive limited technical information when you visit, such as:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address;
- browser and device type;
- operating system;
- pages visited;
- date and time of access;
- referring website; and
- general information about how the website is used.
We may use cookies or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the website.
Our website does not load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, or advertising conversion tags. Our hosting and network providers record standard server logs, such as the pages requested, to operate and secure the website and to produce aggregate traffic counts.
We do not store advertising click identifiers, and advertising identifiers are not carried into our patient-management system. We do not transmit information about appointment scheduling, psychiatric treatment, patient registration, or clinical activity to third-party advertising platforms for behavioral advertising or individual advertising attribution.
Winston does not intentionally use third-party advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral advertising technologies, or session-replay technologies to create advertising profiles based on a person’s interest in ADHD, mental-health services, psychiatric treatment, or other healthcare services.
If our website practices materially change, we will update this policy.
How We Use Information
We may use information collected through the website to:
- respond to questions or requests;
- provide information about our services;
- facilitate a request to become a patient;
- operate, maintain, and secure the website;
- understand how the website is functioning;
- prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- otherwise provide a service that you request.
Information submitted in connection with seeking healthcare may become part of our healthcare operations or medical record when appropriate. If information is protected health information subject to HIPAA, our Notice of Privacy Practices governs our use and disclosure of that information.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information or health information obtained through our website.
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate our practice or website, such as website hosting, information technology, security, secure forms, scheduling, communications, or other technology providers. Such providers are permitted to use information only as appropriate to provide services to us and are subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with applicable law;
- respond to lawful governmental or legal process;
- protect the rights, safety, or security of our patients, visitors, practice, or others; or
- investigate suspected fraud, misuse, or security incidents.
Healthcare information is subject to additional federal and state privacy protections described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Email and Electronic Communications
Ordinary email and internet communications may carry privacy or security risks.
Please do not use ordinary email or a general website contact form for emergencies or urgent clinical concerns. Established patients should use the secure communication methods provided by the practice when communicating about treatment.
By providing an email address or telephone number in a request for information, you authorize us to respond using that contact information. This does not establish a physician-patient relationship.
Children
Winston provides healthcare services to children and adolescents, but our public website is intended primarily for patients, prospective patients, parents, guardians, and other adults seeking information about our services.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information through the public website directly from children under age 13 without appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
Clinical confidentiality and parental access to the healthcare records of minors are governed by applicable federal and state law and are addressed separately in our clinical privacy practices.
Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may link to third-party websites or services, including patient portals, scheduling platforms, educational resources, laboratories, pharmacies, or other services.
A link does not mean that Winston controls that website or its privacy practices. When you leave our website or interact directly with another service, that provider’s privacy practices may also apply.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information under our control.
No website, email system, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should use appropriate caution when transmitting sensitive information electronically.
Data Retention
We retain website information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, operate and secure our systems, comply with legal obligations, and maintain appropriate business records.
Medical records and protected health information are retained in accordance with healthcare record-retention requirements and our clinical policies.
Washington Consumer Health Data
Certain consumer health information that is not protected by HIPAA or otherwise exempt from Washington’s My Health My Data Act may be subject to additional protections.
Please see our separate Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for information about those rights.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Website Privacy Policy as our website, technology, or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this website with its effective date.
