A BROADER CLINICAL LENS

ADHD rarely exists
in isolation.

Attention is only part of the picture.

Sleep, physical health, stress, emotional regulation, and daily demands can all influence how a person functions. Understanding that context is part of understanding the patient.

Medication can be an important part of ADHD treatment. But medication works within a biological and psychological system. We want that system working as well as possible.

ADHD does not exist in isolationAttention, executive function, and emotional regulation at the center, connected to sleep, medical and hormonal factors, nutrition, movement, stress physiology, medication effects, relationships, environment, and self-concept.AttentionExecutive functionEmotional regulationSleepMedical &hormonal factorsNutritionMovementStress physiologyMedication effectsRelationshipsEnvironmentSelf-concept

THE WINSTON APPROACH

A stronger foundation.
A more thoughtful plan.

A thorough evaluation first.
Then care that evolves with you.

1

Understand the person & their goals

Look at ADHD, daily functioning, health, and the conditions that may be contributing to difficulties.

2

Strengthen the
foundation

Consider sleep, nutrition, movement, stress regulation, and relevant medical concerns.

3

Optimize
treatment

Use medication thoughtfully when appropriate, with attention to response, tolerability, and the whole clinical picture.

4

Build sustainable
function

Support emotional regulation, habits, executive functioning, and progress in everyday life.

CARE FOR YOUR STAGE OF LIFE

Different lives.
The same depth of care.

What stays the same

Every evaluation is two appointments with Dr. Beck, with the same close look at sleep, physical health, stress, and daily function.

In person in Spokane and Bellevue, or by telehealth across Washington and Idaho.

ADULT ADHD

When getting through the day takes more than it should.

Work, relationships, and everyday responsibilities can place very different demands on attention. We look beyond a symptom checklist to understand where you are struggling, what is helping, and what needs to change.

  • A comprehensive evaluation with Dr. Beck
  • Treatment considered in the context of your health
  • Goals grounded in your day-to-day life

A CLEAR PATH INTO CARE

The Evaluation

Start with a thorough evaluation.
Together, we shape the care that follows.

YOUR STARTING POINT

Two appointments.
A deeper understanding.

$1,800 · Includes both appointments

Private pay. Winston is out of network with all insurance plans. We provide a superbill for your evaluation visits. Many of our clients with out-of-network benefits recover a meaningful portion of their clinical visit costs.

Visit 1 75 to 90 minutes
Full history, symptoms, daily functioning, and what you want to change. Lab work ordered where it will clarify the picture.
Visit 2 45 to 60 minutes
Findings and diagnosis, with a written treatment plan you take with you.

Your written evaluation report is in your portal within three days.

Your evaluation includes two appointments with Thomas Beck MD. Together, you explore your symptoms, treatment history, daily functioning, and personal goals.

We take a close look at medical and physiological contributors, including whether lab testing could help clarify the picture. Sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, and mindset, including self-concept and learned patterns, are part of that same careful assessment.

You leave with an explanation of the findings and recommendations for care. The evaluation stands on its own; continuing with Winston is a separate decision.

EXPERTISE WITH PERSONAL UNDERSTANDING

Thomas Beck MD

Psychiatry residency and fellowship at UCLA
Founder, Winston Integrative ADHD

Who will I see?

Dr. Beck conducts every evaluation and all included Smart Start and Plus appointments. Core follow-up visits are with Dr. Beck or Terry Noyes, PA-C, who has cared for Winston patients with ADHD for eight years and leads our clinical work on ADHD in women.

A physician’s perspective.
A personal reason to care.

Dr. Beck’s path took him from leaving high school and earning a GED to graduating from medical school with honors and completing psychiatry residency and fellowship at UCLA.

His own experience with ADHD informs the questions he asks: what is making daily life harder, what strengths are being overlooked, and what might help this particular person move forward?

That personal understanding accompanies a clinical approach grounded in evaluation, thoughtful treatment, and attention to progress over time.

CARE, ACCESS & FEES

Know what to expect.
Before you commit.

Clear information.
A plan you can review.

Winston offers ongoing care through a private-pay, out-of-network concierge care model. Our care programs bring together scheduled psychiatric visits, direct access to your care team through secure messaging, and clinical tracking to guide treatment over time.

Request written information about the evaluation and care program options, including fees and what each level of care includes. Review the details at your own pace before deciding on the next step.

After your evaluation, you receive a recommended care plan with services, fees, and payment terms clearly outlined before you decide about continuing care.

What does concierge care mean?+

Concierge programs provide an ongoing relationship with your psychiatric care team, with scheduled visits, secure messaging between appointments, and progress tracking. Core offers ongoing specialty care; Plus adds more frequent visits and guided curriculum work with Dr. Beck. Your evaluation is separate, and program services and fees are outlined before you enroll.

Can I speak with someone if I have questions?+

Yes. Send your question through the request form and we reply by email, usually within one business day. If a conversation would help, we arrange a call with our team from there. A call is not required to get started.

Can I use insurance benefits?+

Winston is out of network and care is paid for directly. We provide a superbill for your evaluation visits, which you can submit to your insurer. Any potential reimbursement depends on your plan and the services involved. Check with your insurer before assuming fees will be reimbursed.

Do I have to join a program to be evaluated?+

No. The evaluation includes two appointments with Dr. Beck and is a standalone service. Continuing care is a separate decision, guided by your needs and the evaluation findings.

Can I begin with Core if medication is already working?+

Yes, when clinically appropriate after evaluation. Smart Start is for people needing closer initial follow-up; it is not a required step for everyone.

What can we handle through messaging?+

Many routine care questions and medication adjustments can be addressed through secure messaging when medically appropriate. Your clinician determines when a visit is needed. We explain response expectations before care begins; messaging is not an emergency service.

What if I need extra appointments?+

Additional visits can be arranged when clinically needed. We explain their fees and whether a different care schedule would be appropriate, rather than assuming the included appointments will meet every need.

What happens after four months?+

We review your progress together and plan the next stage of care. When you’re ready, you can step down to Core for ongoing psychiatric care, tracking, and support. If you would benefit from more structured support, we discuss continuing at that level before making a change.

How does this work for children and families?+

Dr. Beck considers development, family observations, school demands, and relevant health factors. The follow-up plan reflects your child’s needs. When your child is ready for less frequent follow-up, Core provides ongoing specialty care and progress tracking.

Does the program include individual therapy or coaching?+

Plus includes clinical coaching with Dr. Beck: guided curriculum work, goal setting, and review of your tracking to help you apply changes in daily life. Core includes self-guided curriculum access without clinical coaching. Individual psychotherapy is not included.

Do I need to attend a group for Plus?+

No. Plus is built around your individual appointments, curriculum work, and personalized midpoint feedback. Occasional group sessions on topics of interest to our clients are held, but attendance is not required.

How is the Plus midpoint check-in different from messaging?+

Available in Plus, the monthly midpoint check-in is a planned review of your curriculum goals, progress, and obstacles, with a brief personalized response from Dr. Beck. Routine clinical messaging is available in both Core and Plus for appropriate care questions. Neither replaces an appointment when one is medically needed.
